What Inspires the Love in Us, Inspires the Love in Others…

Welcome to Love Mission Photography, whose mission is to inspire acts of love for others by the acts of love that inspire us.

We all have people, places, things and activities in our lives that we love, that inspire us. For me, one of the ways that love was inspired was on a missions trip to Africa that I embarked on with my church during the summer of 2013. It was on this trip that I met so many wonderful people and had so many humbling, amazing experiences, while sharing God’s love with others. One of the people I met is the boy pictured above, Christian. He had the greatest smile, the biggest ambitions and one of the kindest souls I ever encountered. As I walked through the village where I met him, he was washing his clothes by hand alongside his little brother. As we chatted, he told me that he wanted to be a doctor someday and proceeded to stop what he was doing to cut and peel an orange for me that he took off the tree growing in his front yard. This small, but tremendous act of love by this boy to a perfect stranger moved me deeply and made me realize the importance of living with gratitude, reminded me to never stop dreaming, and to live slowly enough to share God’s love for one another, no matter how small the act may seem.
